Baked chicken thighs

-1 LB chicken thighs, skin on with bone in

-2 tsp fresh cracked pepper

-2 tsp oregano

-1 tsp garlic powder

-1 tsp onion granules

-1 tsp chilli powder(optional)

-1/4 tsp cayenne(optional) 

 

 

*This recipe is very versatile when it comes to what seasonings you prefer that day. Plain cracked pepper, oregano, onion, garlic, etc etc.

*If you're trying to get more fat, keep the drippings in the pan after you remove the chicken and make a gravy. Refer to brown rice gravy in foundations.

 

 

1. Preheat oven to 400 and prepare your chicken while waiting.

 

2. Place chicken in your bakeware and evenly spread/rub the first two spices listed above into the chicken. Then proceed to sprinkle your cayenne over top, followed by the chili powder if using those two.

 

3. Place in oven and set timer for 30 minutes. If they are at 165 on your thermometer, take em out. If not, keep em in till they reach it, around 5-7 minutes. 

 

4. Once finished, let cool for about 7 minutes or so and then serve with a little pink salt if desired, Enjoy!
