Apple crisps

-1 apple (5-7 ounces)

*I used a gala apple for this one.

*Feel free to sprinkle your choice of seasonings & spices on top. Cinnamon, all-spice, cayenne, nutmeg, salt, etc.

*If you don’t have wire racks for your baking pan(s) then just line them with parchment paper and make sure they aren’t sticking when you check on them after 45 minutes.

1. Take your apple and wash it. Feel free to core it if you want a larger chip, but I’m just adding it to my granola, so it’s not a big deal if they are smaller pieces. Either use your knife or vegetable slicer to slice them the thickness of a quarter(1/8” thick).

2. Put your oven to 220 degrees and set your oven timer for 45 minutes.

3. Check your slices and make sure they aren’t stuck to your rack and if they’re, just flip them over and let the dryer side finish out facing the racks. Set your timer for 1 hour and check their status to see if you want them more crispy or not. A good way to check if they are done is to set one of the chips out and let it cool. Check how it is and judge from there.

4. Once they finish, let cool and consume them however you please, Enjoy!
